And, did you know that Wednesbury is in Sandwell?  Must be something in the water.

Thanks Paul, hadn’t spotted that one.

And I didn’t know about Wednesbury and Sandwell but I do now, so that’s my learning for the day.

Interesting that Cllr Cooper is quoted in the LGC article as saying that census data shows most people have lived in Sandwell “for a long time”.

So….a minimum residence requirement for CTR would seem very much like a solution in search of a problem then…?

and Bilston is in Wolverhampton and Sutton Coldfield is in Birmingham; they’re somewhat irrational with their Local Authorities round these parts…

We have been informed that Sandwell Council do not intend to lodge a further appeal against this decision.
