Council Tax disability reduction scheme
Hi,
I’ve got a half memory of a bit of case law relating to the Council Tax disability reduction scheme – but can’t remember enough to find it!
(I think) the case was about a person with Down’s Syndrome who had a room that they used that had sensory equipment in it. The decision stated that this could be considered a room that was needed for a substantially disabled person, and so did qualify for the band reduction.
Any help finding this would be gratefully received, I appreciate it isn’t much to go on.
Many thanks
Jane
Was it South Gloucestershire Council v Malcolm Titley and Colin John Clothier?

Cheers!
