JR challenge to Westminster policy on DHPs for those affected by benefit cap
Inside Housing is reporting that Zacchaeus 2000 Trust has been given permission for JR challenge - expected to be heard in February - of Westminster’s policy of only awarding DHPs to those affected by benefit cap if they can show ‘engagement with work programmes and/or action to find alternative accommodation.’
Hi
Does anyone know what happened in this JR? looking at something similar but cant find an outcome for this
thank you
Hi All,
Did this potential JR go anywhere or does anyone know of any other similar challenges?
Rob
It looks like the policy was amended in 2015, presumably they backed down rather than face a JR on the issue?
