Hi,
Can anyone advise me - person has moved from Northern Ireland where he was getting ESA Support Group, to England and has been told he needs to reapply for ESA as a new claim and is in the assessment phase pending assessments.

Is the correct?

Many thanks

This has been discussed before http://www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/viewthread/4990/ although I don’t know if this is still the current position

Hi, yes I saw that, but wasn’t sure if there had been changes…but having since spoken to him again, it would appear that he was getting irESA in NI and therefore has to be re-assessed.

thank you
