Payments on appeal
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that these payments seem to be hard work to sort out these days?
One of my clients made the point that ‘they do it on purpose, just to wind you up’.
Copies of any internal guidance on this point most appreciated.
I assume that you’re talking about ESA payments pending a LCW hearing. I haven’t had difficulty getting them. Sometimes, there’s no medical evidence for the intervening period, which requires some intervention, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s business as usual.
Are we talking payments pending an appeal or payments consequential to the outcome of an appeal?
Just the payments you should get while waiting for the appeal. Should be easy, no?
