Following today's news, there appears to be an amendment that ESA can be offset against CB paid - does this mean ESA paid to the parent or the young person? My client was dismissed from school in May 09 but her mother contd to be paid CB until end of August 09 - could we request backdating of ESA for the 16 year old asking them to offet the CB paid to the mother or am I losing my mind after trying to understand the new amendments?
