This quote is from the lead rightsnet news story today, lifted from a recent Cabinet Office Report.
“Rightsnet ... makes it possible to share best practice and learn from the experience of colleagues in an effective and efficient way. Exchanging information and guidance, such as advice on specific entitlements and ways to access those entitlements, improves outcomes for their clients.”
However, the report then goes on to say:
‘There is nothing quite like JJ in the middle of one of her long flowing rants against the wanton imbecility that often masquerades as public administration. There is nothing I like better than curling up in bed with a nice mug of Horlicks and a packet of custard creams before loogging on to the discussion forums. We at the Cabinet Office often find ourselves doubled up over our desks at the way she often sees right through Government attempts to hoodwink the public into thinking that we who serve them actually know what we are doing and not just making it up as we go along. The way she, time and time again, unmasks us as the incompetent buffoons we actually are is just incredible. She should be brought into the highest ranks of pulic policy making at once before we are swept fom power in two years time and kicked into the political wilderness for the foreseeable future.’
