Claimants' experiences of third sector contracting-out ... effect on advice and independence
Mon 03-Mar-08 11:03 AM

CPAG is conducting a research project on advice, independence and contracting out of welfare services to the voluntary sector, and hopes you may be able to help.

CPAG want to look at the claimants' experiences, having already looked at advisers views and international evidence. It needs to speak to people with direct experience of third-sector provision of welfare services - can your organisation help in identifying people to interview and encouraging them to participate?

Participants need to be London-based. Given recent welfare reforms CPAG is particularly keen to speak to disabled people. Interviews will last about an hour, interviewees expenses will be covered and a £20 Boots voucher provided to show appreciation for the time spent.

CPAG would be very grateful if you could forward this on to any colleagues who may be able to help put it in touch with potential interviewees.

If you are able to help, please contact Paul Dornan at CPAG (020 7812 5222 / pdornan@cpag.org.uk).
