NAWRA meeting in Ipswich 6th June 2008

The next NAWRA meeting will take place in Ipswich from 10am to 4pm on Friday 6th June 2008.

Speakers are Richard Exell, Senior Policy Officer, Trades Union Congress – A TUC perspective on Welfare Reform, Neil Couling, DWP Director (Benefits Delivery and Fraud) – Employment and Support Allowance and David Sobczak, DWP Periodicity and Payday Project Manager – Fortnightly payments and benefit simplification.

In the afternoon, there will be workshops on Welfare Rights in Healthcare Settings, a research project on The Compliance Costs of Benefits and Tax Credits and Local Housing Allowance.

This will be followed by an Information Exchange where advisers can ask questions and share ideas.
