Contribution based JSA

Is pay in lieu treated in the same way as for JSA income based? Info system that I use hints at a problem.Cpag seems to suggest that the treatment is the same.Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes. See regs 79 and 80 of the JSA regs, which specifically apply (almost)the same rules for calculation of CBJSA as apply to IBJSA, inclusing what counts as earnings.
