CPAG is looking for an experienced welfare rights worker to work on our Early Warning System. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the work of the EWS which gathers and analyses information about changes to the social security system and plays a central role in CPAG’s campaigning.
The role is based in the Advice and Rights Team and you will work closely with other CPAG staff to develop CPAG’s understanding of issues of concern in the design and delivery of universal credit and other developments in social security. The role will involve writing and promoting reports and other conclusions drawn from the EWS data as well as engaging our audience to encourage the submission of case studies.
You will be an expert in the benefits and tax credit system and have demonstrated strong skills in analysing information on the social security system. You will have excellent writing skills and the ability to promote and publicise the EWS work to a variety of audiences.
This is a permanent position for 21 hours per week.
