CPAG is looking for a talented and experienced Welfare Rights Adviser to help develop its online welfare rights resources for advisers. This includes the expansion and redesign of the current Ask CPAG content - which provides targeted tactical information for advisers on topical welfare rights issues - and the development of related online tools to guide advisers through complicated social security provisions and help them draft letters on behalf of claimants.
Working as part of CPAG’s Advice and Rights team, you will be responsible for identifying and writing new Ask CPAG sections, updating existing content and the development of the new ‘decision tree’ and letter writing tools on a platform which is currently in development, as part of CPAG’s digital transformation. You will be working with the developers and CPAG’s publishing team to ensure that the Ask CPAG content links effectively to the redeveloped online Welfare Benefits and Tax Credits Handbook and Welfare Rights Bulletin as well as contributing to the broader work of the Advice and Rights Team, in providing specialist welfare rights information, training and support to the advice sector. . You will have expert understanding of welfare rights and excellent written communications skills. The ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines is also essential.
