Surrey Welfare Rights Unit is a specialist service that supports local organisations and teams with benefits advice. We deliver telephone support, casework and training as well as research and campaigning on behalf of local communities. We are a member of Citizens Advice and a registered charity.
Applicants must have a proven track record of recent benefits advice including casework. You will need up-to-date knowledge of social security legislation and practice, and a willingness to deliver training. Surrey Welfare Rights Unit is a small expert team so applicants need to be flexible, organised and team-spirited. Successful applicants will have access to training, support and a rewarding career.
