This is an opportunity to work in a unique post as part of a collaboration between two highly respected charities. The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society and the Disability Law Service have been working in partnership for over 10 years to offer expert help and advice to people with MS and their families.
The MS Welfare Benefits Advisor will provide a dedicated first port of call for people across the UK affected by MS seeking advice on welfare benefits and will be responsible for casework, delivering training and attending events publicising the service.
The post will be based primarily at Disability Law Services office in Vauxhall, London, working in collaboration with the MS Legal Officer and DLS’ welfare benefits advice service. However the postholder will be expected to work a minimum of 1 day a week at the MS National Centre in Cricklewood.
To succeed in the role you must have a detailed knowledge of welfare benefits and the regulations relating to them and substantial experience of delivering information and advice, both over the phone and in writing.

25 days annual leave + public holidays.
