Welfare Benefits Advisor

Organisation: Hospitality Action
35 hours per week
£34-40k per annum, depending on experience
Location: London, Hybrid
Deadline: 11 March, 2024

Hospitality Action supports low-income hospitality workers facing a range of personal and financial challenges. Many of our beneficiaries are facing unprecedented financial challenges and demand for our support is currently higher than at any time in the charity’s 185-year history.

With this in mind, we are looking to evolve our support package to include more practical advice and advocacy services to complement our grant-making activities and increase the financial resilience of our beneficiaries. Key to this evolution is the introduction of an in-house benefits advice service, to ensure our beneficiaries are receiving all appropriate welfare benefits.

Purpose of job

To implement and then deliver an effective service, providing advice to eligible beneficiaries, enabling and empowering them to access their full entitlement to welfare benefits, and to help maximise their income through advice and signposting to other available schemes and concessions.
