We are seeking an experienced policy professional to lead on our work on health policy, including social determinants of health, BAME women health inequalities and maternal health. The role will involve policy analysis; preparing reports, briefings and responses to policy consultations; primary research, including focus groups and interviews; representing the organisation in meetings and networks; and building positive relationships with voluntary organisations working with pregnant women and new mothers.
We are looking for someone with excellent policy analysis skills; strong research skills, including primary research; experience in preparing reports, briefings, responses to Government consultations and policy submissions; and ability to develop constructive relationships with voluntary organisations working with vulnerable women.
The post is for nine months to 31 March 2021, with the possibility of extension.
The role will be part of our small team based in Finsbury Park, London. The post is for 28 hours a week. We are happy to consider flexible working arrangements during normal business hours. We are open to office or home working. When restrictions lift, there will be occasional meetings in London
