About the Role
The successful candidate will be working as part of our Gateway - Welfare service where we support residents with their financial, housing and emotional well-being. As part of the welfare rights team you will be pro-active in promoting money and debt advice to our client groups ensuring income maximisation, help to set budgets, prepare financial statements, advice on priority/non priority debts and negotiate with creditors. This is also a development opportunity to develop in a debt support/advice role.
We are looking for Advisers who are keen to make their mark as well as having:
You must be able to work well with others, champion new ways of working and manage your own workload. The successful candidate will need to be able to use a variety of different IT systems, have excellent organisational, communication, financial and numeracy skills.
