Citizens Advice Guildford have an exciting opportunity for 2 great team players with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our highly successful caseworker team.

One will focus on providing support to people affected by cancer with welfare benefits advice with the aim of maximising their income. You will report to the Macmillan Project Manager, managing a caseload, assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits and other sources of financial help. The Service will be delivered through outreach at the Fountain Centre where you’ll support clients face-to-face, by telephone or email.

Our second role will report to the Advice Service Manager and provide ongoing advice and casework to support our generalist advice service. You will manage a caseload, assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits, deal with their debts and resolve housing issues

Whilst experience of working within Citizens Advice would be desirable, for first role as a welfare benefits caseworker we will happily support the right person through Citizens Advice accredited training to enable them to carry out the role through a trainee caseworker role.
