Coventry Independent Advice Service offers community-based advice across the city of Coventry. We are looking to recruit another self-motivated Caseworker to help us achieve our service objectives.

As part of a small and dedicated team, you will play an important role in providing an effective and efficient generalist advice service with casework in Welfare Benefits and Debt/Money Advice. You will work within the aims, policies and principles of our service and to Advice Quality Standard (AQS) requirements.

The successful candidate will deliver an advice and casework service at outreach locations across Coventry (including family hubs, libraries and community centres) and at our city-centre office. Advice is available through a mix of ‘drop-in’ sessions and appointments.

You will have significant recent experience of giving advice, ideally in an organisation where a commitment to quality standards is paramount. You will have a broad knowledge of key advice areas, particularly welfare benefits and debt, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultures and backgrounds. You will have a keen interest in delivering services for city residents, be client-focused and demonstrate a positive and flexible approach.
