This might be correct but seems wrong so looking for confirmation either way?

Client moved to UC with £120 trans SDP included, rent had a service charge at £100 which was mentioned at start of UC claim but not added until 2 months later once checked and confirmed by UC.

This added service charge has now reduced the trans amount by £100 which seems wrong as if was there at the start and had it been included in the first UC payment would not have reduced the trans amount.

Options/ opinions?

What matters is whether or not the original awarding decision for the first AP has been revised.

If it has been revised so as to include the extra £100, then there shouldn’t be any issue re SDP comp erosion. However, if the extra £100 has only been included from some later date via supersession, then that would trigger erosion.

Your post seems to imply that the extra £100 has only been put into place at some later date, but it is not obvious why that would be. If it is just a case of getting confirmation of the liability, why haven’t they just put that into place from the start of the award?
