UC taper rate reduction and increase work allowance - UC vs Tax Credits

There aren’t any changes to Tax Credits to mirror the budget announcements re: UC taper and work allowances is there? To make work pay etc.

Just thinking that the UC changes may be significant enough to mean that some working people who previously didn’t want to move to UC (because of monthly payments, deductions from payments etc)  may soon be so significantly better off that they will. So there may be another surge in new claims once the changes come in.
