It’s been a long process, but on 13 October the Commission on Social Security - led by Experts by Experience - will be previewing its proposals for a new social security system.

This event will be online from 2pm to 3.30pm. It will:

- Explain the Commission on Social Security and its work.
- Preview the Commission’s proposals around a Guaranteed Decent Income, an entirely new approach to disability benefits, increased Child Benefit and supporting measures.
- Have time for questions and discussion.

There will be British Sign Language interpretation and automated live transcription.

The event is kindly hosted by Toynbee Hall and supported by London Challenge Poverty Week and Trust for London.
