JSA and move to UC following period of illness - can weeks of illness on JSA trigger UC50 earlier?

Hi,
I have a tenant on a joint JSA claim and on PIP (standard care and mobility). He has been signed off for 13 weeks and knows he won’t be able to actively look for work at the end of it. I’ve explained that he’ll then need to claim UC if he remains unfit for work. I’m just wondering if there is any way of using the period of 13 week sickness on JSA to trigger the UC50 as soon as he moves onto UC or if he will need to build up to 13 weeks of fit notes from that date. I have a feeling it’s the latter but cannot find confirmation. He might then want to consider claiming UC quicker despite the loss of enhanced disability premium? Thank you.
