leaseholder service charges and UC?
hi. checking i have this right?
couple previously on tax credits, moving to UC, working part-time. own council leasehold flat outright.
leasehold service charges cannot be included in UC unless there’s a period of 9 months on UC while doing no work (similar to SMI in this way)
am saying, because they work part-time, that it’s unlikely they will ever get any help with service charges.
am i right?
