EU citizens win right to access personal data held by Home Office
I think the ruling applies to all immigration applicants - the DPA immigration exemption has been found unlawful because of the UK law derived from carrying over the GDPR (so it is the ghost of EU law in the UK that won the case, but it’s not limited to EU subjects).
But at the moment there’s no change while we wait to see whether the government will seek to change the law, or appeal to the Supreme Court.
