Changing to UC after receiving £500 lump sum from WTC?
Is there anything to stop someone changing to UC after they receive their £500 and so taking advantage of a few months with the £20 uplift?
From HB Guidance 5/3/21:
‘This payment is not a payment of Working Tax Credits and will not be issued by the Tax Credits payment system
The payment will be disregarded for UC claimants who met the eligibility criteria and subsequently claim UC.’
