Additional restrictions grant and claimant on ESA self employed with permitted work
Have a client who has just received £526 from local council under the above grant. I have found that it is taxable if she earns enough ( not likely) but cannot find anywhere whether it is capital or income for benefits and also as she is on permitted work for what period it would be taken into account. I am assuming that if it is classed as income she could offset any business expenses against it ?
