Housing Benefit - Staffing costs
Hello all. Happy new year.
Quick question about what can be included for housing benefit.
Client lives in a retirement housing development. The lease breaks the payments down into sub-categories: rent; staffing cost; and energy/ heating charge. There is no further explanation of the purpose of the staffing cost but it does not include general maintenance as this is included in the rent.
Can staffing costs be included in housing benefit? Or is this cost excluded from what housing benefit can cover?
Cheers.
