Great result in legal aid eligibility case for PLP
Huge win today for our client ‘Claire’ and other survivors of domestic abuse. Today’s ruling is a positive step towards better access to justice.
Claire was refused legal aid in 2019 because, despite being DV survivor and on Universal Credit, she had ‘trapped capital’ in a home she owned jointly with her former partner & couldn’t sell ....
