quickest way to get pip payment in place following hospital discharge

just wondering if anyone has a tried and tested method to get pip in payment following suspension after a long term stay in hospital. I know I can get the appointee to notify by phone and the hospital can write but I’m trying to reduce the chances of any delay in the cases I have.

I don’t get long stay hospital discharges all too often so hoping someone who has it more frequently might be able to give some practical suggestions that they know have worked for them.

I need the pip to go smoothly, to get the sdp, to allow a hb claim, hence why i am trying to avoid delays.
