Need for supervision negated by aids?
Im currently doing a AA appeal for a profoundly deaf client
Im basing the appeal on the extra support and supervision required as per mallinson/fairey cases
I argued he needs supervision in case there is a fire when in bathroom and he cant hear alarm, and also frequent help with communication. He cant hear phone ring or doorbell either.
he has just had a device installed on his belt that is wirelessly connected to his telephone, doorbell and fire alarm, so if any of them go off he is immediately notified via his belt thingamabob
So : will this kill his appeal as he doesn’t require the same level of supervision as before?
Thanks
Can he wear said device in the shower or bath? Outside of that the help with communication is huge.
