New initiative between housing providers, local authorities and refuge services

We’ve all seen the stories in the media about the increase in domestic abuse as the COVID-19 pandemic continues across England. That’s why CIH has been working with DAHA, Women’s Aid and the National Housing Federation to bring the housing sector and refuges together, so survivors who are ready to move on right now can find a safe and secure home.

The initiative sets out a number of steps housing providers, local authorities and refuge services can take to help us work together in the short-term, to coordinate move on accommodation.
