Has anyone got a copy they could scan and attach? I’ve had a listing notice but the leaflet’s not been included.

Doesn’t square with what Benefits and Work were publicising. Has it been radically amended?

Same here, we had a hearing adjourned a couple of weeks ago because client has a call barring system in place.  It is not a person who calls but an automated system and so it didn’t connect.  The notes he had with his letter did not mention call barring systems and even if the notes had been sent to us (which they weren’t) we wouldn’t have known it was a machine not a person calling so assume clerk would have said it was HMCTS were pressed the right button to connect!

Hi, has anyone yet asked for a copy of HMCT’s audio recording or the notes of a telephone hearing?

Hi, has anyone yet asked for a copy of HMCT’s audio recording or the notes of a telephone hearing?

My understanding was that where there was a recording that replaces the need for a written record of proceedings.

Hope this link to HMCTS has worked about what they are doing at moment with phone hearings

<https://www.gov.uk/guidance/hmcts-telephone-and-video-hearings-during-coronavirus-outbreak>

A lot here, but scroll down to the heading “open justice”-  2nd to 4th bulet point about getting hold of recordings.

Transcripts for hearings in those jurisdictions where they are available now. Any party or interested person is able request a transcript. Judges may direct that the transcript be made available at public expense where appropriate

With the permission of the judge, an audio recording of a hearing can be made available to be listened to in a court building

With the permission of the judge, in jurisdictions where this is already done, the notes of the hearing can be made available on request

I find it worrying that this leaflet does not refer at all to representatives- the closest it gets is a reference to “anyone else joining the hearing”.....
