PIP Reviews vs Renewals
Hello
PIP is normally awarded for a fixed period. In some cases you will be sent an AR1 review form about a year before your award is due to end. In other cases, this wont happen, and if you want to stay on PIP you’ll need to make a new claim.
My individual experience is that most people now get referred for a review.
But does anyone with a better grasp of the wider situation know roughly what the proportion is of PIP awards that are reviewed, compared to those that are allowed to expire unless a new claim is submitted?
(n.b. i know that awards are being extended and reviews are being suspended at the moment - my question is about the pre-coronavirus situation).
Thanks
Liam
