Direct payments and UC carer element
Hi,
I just want to clarify that if you are paid for work as a carer through the direct payment system (in Wales) then you do not qualify for carer element in a UC claim?
(3) But a person does not have regular and substantial caring responsibilities for a severely disabled person if the person derives earned income from those caring responsibilities.
OR have any of you found any ways around this?
