Hi Guys

I was wondering through all this wonderful mess if someone is a carer for someone who doesnt live with them and the carer and/or the person they care for has to isolate due to precaution or actually having the virus - will this then affect their carers allowance as theoretically they are not going to be looking after them for the 35 hrs a week or will CA be lenient due to the current climate???

i cant seem to find anything but im wondering whether it hasnt been addressed yet

The rules permit temporary breaks in care without loss of entitlement which may be sufficient in many cases.
