Hello everyone,
We have a client who wish to appeal her PIP claim.The deadline is today.Any advice on what we could do.She is getting really anxious.

She can submit an appeal online at https://www.gov.uk/appeal-benefit-decision/submit-appeal (I assume she’s done the MR already).

You can always submit further information/evidence at a later date.

For future reference the (usually) absolute deadline for appeals (and MRs) is 13 months, not the 1 month usually stated on DWP decision/notice letters. You will need valid grounds, such as the client failing to act in time due to mental health issues. 90% of the MRs and appeals I submit are late.

Even the 13 month deadline can be crossed if there was an official error in the decision you are appealing.
