JSA with SDP and being coerced onto UC

is it possible to move from JCA back to ESA?

tenant has been awarded SDP back to 2017 and is currently on extended period of sickness.
Job Centre trying o make him claim UC which he cant due to SDP.

can me move over to ESA ?

The effect of the SDP provision is that he cannot claim UC and therefore can claim any of the benefits which UC abolishes - including ESA

If, as you say, he’s being “coerced” to claim UC (or not to claim ESA) you could try the escalation numbers. As I mentioned in another thread recently, DWP have signalled (at least in Edinburgh) that they are keen for them to be used, and may help them improve their service.

Unfortunately old-style doesn’t have an online claim form like nsESA does.
