Hi, quick query for a friend.

Is there an email address that the public can use to contact Pensions Service?  My friend lives outside of UK in EU and therefore says that the 0800 numbers do not work.  She has tried writing but no response (quelle surprise).
She is chasing up pension owed to her deceased mother whose estate she is executor for, and has not heard anything for 6 months after filling in forms for PS.

Why not try the International Pension Centre (IPC)

http://www.gov.uk/international-pension-centre

Telephone 0191 218 7777 or +44 191 218 7777 if dialling from abroad

Part of DWP, deal with enquiries about payment of State Pension and other benefits if you live abroad and enquiries if you live in the UK and have lived or worked abroad. Also, information about obtaining an S1 form when moving to an EEA country, or to report you are returning to live in the UK.
