Online problems
I have had three cl’s recently who have been unable to make online claims for UC, all three were reclaims within six months of the previous claim ending.
None of them knew their username or password so we used the recovery options. The usernames came back without a problem but the password resets never arrived. In the latest case we set up a new email account and made a fresh claim from scratch but the email code didn’t arrive either. I rang UC to ask about this and they didn’t know what was going on but did say that the previous call was about exactly the same problem. As far as I know we have good wi fi and 4g reception in the office, I even got the cl’s email account on my laptop to see if that would resolve it but no resets or codes came in
The first two cl’s tried again the next day and the claims went ahead without difficulty, the latest one was referred to the Jobcentre so his date of claim could be registered under Reg 10.
Is this a widespread problem or should I be asking our IT expert to look into it?
