Maybe should have posted this under Advice Sector Issues but just a general question on whether anyone has knowledge of any educational establishments that have an interest in welfare/disability? Anyone had contact from any universities re: research?
A few to start with are
Sheffield Hallam University - https://www4.shu.ac.uk/mediacentre/new-study-finds-welfare-conditionality-ineffective
Salford university - https://www.salford.ac.uk/research/care/research-groups/shusu/projects-work-and-welfare/welfare-conditionality and https://www.salford.ac.uk/research/care/research-groups/shusu/welfare
Those three and others are part of the welfare conditionality research - http://www.welfareconditionality.ac.uk/
You are a star! Have a great Christmas Daphne
I attended a colloquium held by the Centre of Disability Law and Policy at the National University of Ireland in Galway, some years ago, at which students presented a paper about their research.
If you read through the Programme at http://bbi.syr.edu/events/2010/docs/Colloquium_Programme.pdf you’ll find out which Universities the students and invited academics came from. However, it was a while ago, and there could well have been changes in what is on offer at each institution.[ Edited: 17 Dec 2019 at 08:02 pm by Ruth_T ]
