Does anyone have any inside information or otherwise, as to whether LHA rates will increase?

In multiple parliamentary answers, DWP have said that they have no plans to continue the freeze, and that the decision how to uprate the LHA rates would be made later in the year.
Policy could change, but prior to the freeze (and before the limitation to a 1% increase), the increase was to the lower of 30th percentile of rents and the previous year’s rate increased by CPI. This is also the base used when the government calculated savings made by freezing LHA.
