There are now 49 template letters which you can use covering a range of issues available here: http://www.cpag.org.uk/content/judicial-review-pre-action-letters, including new additions as detailed below.

Due a technical fault, CPAG have been unable to log how many times our letters have been downloaded since February. Can you help? Please send a rough estimate of how many times you think your organisation has downloaded any of the letters to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (if you want to tell me if they were used, and how it went, even better!)

New templates:
• Failure to action a DS1500 when provided for a terminally ill claimant
• Failure to send for a UC Work Capability Assessment within a reasonable time
• UC claim closed due to failure to attend interview or provide identity/R2R evidence
• Refusal to reduce rent arrears deduction below 20%, or where total deductions exceed 40%
• Failure to make enquiries to establish Habitual Residence (UC)
• Refusal of a Discretionary Housing Payment
• Failure to pay LCW or LCWRA element from start of UC claim when moving from ESA
• Refusal to reinstate legacy benefits when UC claimed fraudulently by a 3rd party

Thanks
