Our Local JCP is now referring to Legacy Benefits as Heritage Benefits and has changed staff job titles to reflect this

Has anyone else seen this?

Has there been an official change?

I saw it a few months ago.  Imagine the former HB staff in Victorian costumes showing tourists round the Civic Centre

Perhaps they want to apply to be the 194th listed building in the city, apply to the Lottery heritage fund or be awarded UNESCO world heritage site status?

I am sure I was at a presentation or maybe read it somewhere that they were progressing from legacy benefits to Heritage benefits and then on to Historic Benefits

Artisan benefits?

Served to you in the local Jobcentre by some pencil-necked hipster geek with a dodgy beard.

We went to a UC presentation at the local DWP office at the beginning of April and they were using the term then. I can’t help but wonder why they thought they needed the change and how much money was spent on the (no doubt extensive) evaluations, focus groups and so forth before they decided on ‘Heritage’
