It’s horrid-adjacent here - all bold and a slightly off San Serif.

Quick update ...

Looks okay in Chrome (which, from our analytics, most of you use) ... though not so good in browsers like Firefox and Internet Explorer

We’ve fixed our web tools (see for example universalcreditinfo.net and wcainfo.net) .. and are hopeful that we should be back on track with rightsnet later today ....

Cheers - Shawn

Time for a temporary banning order by the Admins.

Now find myself humming the Dead Kennedy’s.

Sigh!

I am now amusing myself with a vision of Gareth singing that song. There’s a video in that somewhere.

I went to Cambodia when I was young arriving in a backwater town in the back of a truck. The first thing I did was walk into a bank and ask to change some money. The bank official laughed uproariously and said that there was no money in the bank and I should go to the bakery and I could change it there. I did that but could not buy any food in said bakery, the owner just looked at me like I was mad and suggested a shack behind the mechanics. Ate there and asked where I could find a dentist as I had toothache and I was directed to several men with blankets laid out on the side of the road with various animal jaws with teeth attached and some scary looking implements. Decided to pass on the dentist and look for a guesthouse. The guesthouse is full I was told but you can sleep in the school. So I spent my first night in Cambodia sleeping in a classroom full of geckos and was woken by curious and very excitable kids in the morning. It was an interesting holiday, I ended up staying for 6 weeks. Tourism has probably moved on now, I would imagine…

Big improvement. Which is just as well, because the notion that I would switch to Chrome (even if permitted by our admins) is as likely as, well, my moving to California and voting for Jerry Brown.

(sorry Mike).

On the day this thread started, the font was bold and chunky and I much preferred it because it was much easier to read.  Since then it’s gone thin and spindly and I’ve had to zoom in to make it bigger.  Even so, it’s still more effort to read.  I’m short-sighted but I am wearing my glasses!

I must say that I’d not noticed the original issue but it is now looking a little faded. The text when I’m typing this is darker than how it appears once posted.
