Wow! I thought I’d arrived at 1st of April without any memory of Christmas or the first three months of the year.

Oh dear, I wonder who the rather red-faced rep might be working for?

Hi all ...

Have deleted the subsequent posts to this thread. As Clare says, it tells you in the decision who the rep was … I don’t think we necessarily then need a discussion re their wider activities.

Apologies for any inconvenience …

Cheers – Shawn

mmmm

i think, given that the public can read this forum, it might have been useful to leave up the stuff about their normal business, as a warning to others, perhaps?  ignoring the political stuff which wasn’t relevant…

The only ‘consultancy’ of the same name (note to Shawn - I have not used the name which, in any event, is now in the public domain) and in the appropriate geographical area is, according to my Google search, one which advertises itself as a “Building surveyors, quantity surveyors, valuation surveyors, Auctioneering services”.

Given that we have happily discussed on these forums the dangers posed by companies and individuals who hold themselves out as ‘benefits experts’ when they have no expertise and no regulatory oversight, I don’t see what the problem is here?

I believe the cause of any controversy was their political aspirations. Again, in the public domain but why invite trouble?

Think there’s plenty in the decision to act as a warning .... plus there’s always google of course ...

No problem if the discussion had focused on the dangers you’ve outlined.
