UC and YP in Care
A client aged 18, in a care home and in full-time, non-advanced education and in receipt of PIP mobility component currently gets Education Maintenance Allowance. I thin k she would be entitled to UC as a disabled student but I was wondering if she would be counted as being eligible on the basis of being under 21, in non-advanced education and without parental support? Or does the care home count as being in place of parental support?
