LASA people - do you still provide (via advicelocal) a checker to see if there is a local welfare assistance scheme in different LA areas?

I’ve been going round in circles, directed back to the advicelocal home page, but unable to find the tool on there…I can only see how it works to find sources of advice, not the LWAS schemes.

Hi Will

To find the LWAS, you have to search by postcode on advicelocal and then, if there is a scheme, it will be listed under Welfare Benefits in the section headed ‘What other help is available’ under ‘local information’.
