In an MRN on a (negative) RTR decision. Presented without comment.

“The Department can but empathise with your current situation; however it is also reasonable to consider that any person wishing to live in another EEA state or Nation, and to support themselves and their families using publicly funded benefit systems such as UC, should be aware and knowledgeable as to the conditions upon which they may be considered for such payments, or seek assistance from suitably qualified sources, in order to ensure that they have met such requirements.

The absence of such consideration will often result in a negative outcome, for the claimant and for any children for which they may be responsible”

Just imagine how they’d have felt if they hadn’t been empathised with.
