Does anyone know at what point confirmation of UC claim goes through to LA so they stop HB, is it at point of claim or after verification interview (or some other time)?

Not sure exactly, but there are some details in HB guidance (HB G9/2017) that stop notices would be going automatically to HB authorities. Also faqs in the annex to HB G5/2018 on the 2 week transition payment suggest that notices will be issued soon after claim is accepted to ensure 2 week transition payments can reach people while waiting for the first UC payment.

Local authorities have told me that it is immediately after the verification interview: as soon as DWP are happy that the claimant is who s/he claims to be.
